Product design for apps, portals and configurators.
The first click decides whether there'll be a second.
We design digital products for medium-sized and large companies, from goals and user paths, through wireframes and testing with real people, to the interface and design system. When the product is new, we also come up with its name and logo.
Approach
How we design a great product
This is how we work on every product, from the first wireframe to an online shop, a partner portal or a configurator.
-
Goal first
Before we draw the first screen, we agree what the product has to do for the company and for the people who will use it. We come back to these goals with every decision.
-
Needs and risks
Through workshops, user interviews and a competitor review, we learn what people really need and what risks your business faces. Only then do we build the design on it.
-
Wireframe first
We test the screen layout and user paths on a clickable wireframe before any visual design. A change to a wireframe takes a moment; in finished code it takes far more work.
-
Testing with people
We put the prototype in the hands of the people who will use the product and fix whatever makes them stop. Every round of testing gives a better version.
-
Complete paths
We design the whole path from the first visit to an order or enquiry, including empty lists, errors and messages. Nothing is left to guesswork.
-
Design system
The design becomes a library of components and rules. New features are put together from ready-made elements, so the product grows without being redesigned from scratch and stays consistent.
-
A design that can be built
We code too, so we know what can be built. Developers get the design with a description of how each element behaves, plus files ready for implementation.
-
Growth after launch
After launch, we look at how people use the product and plan the next features together. You can come back to the project at any time, or bring part of the work in-house.
What we design
What does your product need?
We start wherever your product is now: with an idea, a wireframe or a working application that needs fixing.
UI/UX design A shop, portal or app, from user paths to the last screen
What we do
We map out user paths and the information architecture, then design the interface for desktop and mobile. Every screen has its states and behaviour described, so developers don't have to guess.
What you get
- Information architecture and user paths
- Interface design for desktop and mobile
- Design system with a component library
- Specification and files for developers
Similar projects
Web application A tool your customers or partners use every day
What we do
We design partner portals, dashboards and knowledge bases, the places people keep coming back to. We start with what users do most often and make that the simplest part. We can do the design alone or build the whole thing.
What you get
- Map of processes and user roles
- Design of views and micro-interactions
- A design system ready for new features
- Support with the build and further development

Product identity The name, mark and character of a new product or service
What we do
When a product needs a face of its own, we design its name, mark, colours and tone of voice. Then everything the customer touches, from the website and app to the packaging and launch materials.
What you get
- Product name and mark
- Key visual and logo guidelines
- Website or app in the new style
- Packaging and launch materials
Similar projects
Product configurator Customers build the product themselves and see the result straight away
What we do
We design a configurator as a product in its own right, with clear steps, hints and a preview that changes with each choice. Customers don't need to be product experts to place an order or send an enquiry.
What you get
- Configurator steps and logic
- A preview that changes with every choice
- Icons and hints for the options
- Cart or enquiry with the full configuration
Similar projects
MVP A first version of the product to test with real users
What we do
Together we pick the features the idea can't be tested without, and design only those. We add analytics so that after launch it's clear what to develop further and what to drop.
What you get
- Scope of the first version
- A product ready for user testing
- User behaviour analytics
- Plan for the next steps
Wireframe and prototype A clickable version of the product before visual design and code
What we do
We put together a clickable wireframe of the main paths and test it with your team and with users. We move, cut and add things before anything is fully designed and coded.
What you get
- Clickable wireframe
- Scenarios for user testing
- Variants of key screens
- A version to show the board or investors

UX testing and audit We find where people get lost and tell you what to fix
What we do
We watch how people use the product or prototype, review the data and compare versions. Every finding becomes a specific change, and we agree which one to start with.
What you get
- Usability audit
- Analysis of user behaviour data
- Report with changes ranked by priority
- Plan for rolling out fixes
What you get
A product tested with users and ready to build, from a shop or portal to an app or MVP. You keep the files and the design system, so your team can keep developing the product, and we can come back to bigger changes together at any time.
What exactly do you get?

Our process
We work in stages and to a schedule, so you always know what we're doing, why and when. After each stage, we show what we've made.
