“We have several websites, hosting accounts and providers. Nobody has the full picture.”
Who has access to your domain?
Often nobody in the company can answer straight away. Websites, domains, mailboxes, analytics and logins have built up over the years, with different providers and in different people's names, often on private email addresses. It all works until something expires or someone breaks in. We take stock of everything and hand control of it back to the company.
01Situation
Sound familiar?
-
You don't know exactly how many domains you have or when they expire.
-
Old campaign sites are still live, though nobody updates them.
-
Logins sit on the private email addresses of former employees or the previous agency.
-
Every brand in the group has a different hosting provider and different analytics.
-
You're not sure the backups work at all.
02Risks
Where it usually goes wrong
-
A domain expires because the invoice went to an outdated address.
-
An abandoned subpage or an old plugin becomes a way in for attackers.
-
Analytics data is incomplete, so marketing decisions rest on guesswork.
03Process
How we run it
We run every project in the same order: business first, design second. How we work See the results of our work Our values
-
Inventory: domains, DNS, hosting, websites, email, analytics, cookie consent, access.
-
Risk map: what's about to expire (domains, SSL certificates), what's out of date, what's unprotected.
-
Clean-up plan: what to merge, what to switch off, what to move.
-
Migrations and shutdowns with redirects, with no downtime.
-
Documentation and care: one register, an owner for every service, renewal reminders.
Let's talk about your brand.
Let's work out what you need and where it makes sense to start.
04Result
What you get
A register of web assets, a risk report, a clean-up plan with the migrations carried out, access assigned to the company, and documentation.
05Portfolio
From our portfolio
We don't show the infrastructure clean-up projects themselves, as they're covered by non-disclosure agreements. We're happy to talk about them in a meeting. Below are projects where we run several websites at once or look after their security.
-
BEST Group
Six websites for group companies in five countries on one system, each with its own content editing panel.
-
Dawtona Group
Four group websites built from the same modules, so there's less code to maintain.
-
Acer
A portal for Acer UK partners. After launch we looked after its updates and security.
06FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do we have to move our hosting to you?
No. We can sort out what you have with your current providers. If you'd rather put it all in one pair of hands, we'll buy a VPS or dedicated server on your behalf and manage it.
How long does it take?
It depends on the number of websites and providers. After the first conversation, we give you the scope and timing of the inventory.

01A new brand, from the name to the first materials
“We're launching a new brand and want to get it right from the start.”
We often hear: “All we need to start is a logo.” A logo matters, but before it comes deciding who you're talking to, what you're called, how you look and what customers get after the first contact. We put it all together from the start, because fixing it once the company has grown costs far more.
See how we can help02A new logo is the smallest part of a rebrand
“We need a rebrand, but a new logo is just the beginning.”
Designing a new logo takes a few weeks. The real work starts afterwards: the website, offers, presentations, packaging, signage, trade fairs and documents in every department. If nobody plans it, the old brand lives alongside the new one for years. That's why we plan and run the rebrand to the end, rollout included.
See how we can help03Your designer shouldn't be your sales bottleneck
“Every offer and presentation goes through the designer.”
In many companies it looks the same. The brandbook sits in a folder, and every presentation and offer waits in the queue for one designer. Or it doesn't wait and gets made however someone sees fit. First we tidy up what's there. Then we build templates and a library that everyone in marketing and sales can use.
See how we can help04A new website? First, let's check whether you need one
“Our website hasn't kept up with how the company works today.”
A website that can't keep up with the company has a cost: sales reps send PDFs, marketing waits for a developer and customers can't find the offer. But a new website isn't always the answer. First we check what really isn't working. Sometimes tidying up the content and structure is enough. If it needs building from scratch, we'll say so and explain why.
See how we can help06A design in a PDF doesn't change anything yet
“We're looking for a partner who will see implementation through, not just hand over a design.”
The hardest work starts after the design is approved: development, printing, production, integrations and several suppliers who need to work together. This is often where clients are left alone with the files. We stay until the end and take responsibility for the result, suppliers included.
See how we can help07First we understand your product, then we design
“Our product is technical or regulated. It has to be understood first.”
Cell therapies, measuring equipment, liquid cooling, debt claims. When an agency doesn't understand this, it simplifies the message so much that your experts stop believing in their own communication. That's why we start with talks with experts, documentation and a visit to your site. We design the look once we understand the product.
