Motion design and animation for business.

We animate logos, products, event screens, social posts, ads and websites, in 2D and 3D. We start from the goal, work within your brand guidelines and deliver files ready for every channel.

01Approach

What goes into a great animation?

Every animation has a job: to announce a launch, stop people at a stand or show how a product works. This is how we approach every one, from a post lasting a few seconds to a device launch in 3D.

  1. Understanding

We start by getting to know the product, the audience, the purpose of the film and where it will play. We look at what competitors show and draw on your team's knowledge, because they know your customers best.

  2. Story

Every film has one main idea and ends on something concrete: a product, a line or an invitation. We set up the motion so it leads the eye exactly where it should go.

  3. Brand

We take the motion from the identity: its colours, typefaces and the shape of the mark. That way the animation speaks with the same voice as the rest of the brand, and each new film looks like part of the same family.

  4. Material

We work with what you have: footage, photos, CAD files and finished copy. When we start from a blank page, we write the script, draw in 2D or model in 3D, and find the right voice-over artist.

  5. Checking

We watch every version at its final size, from a banner to a stage screen. An animation works when the most important thing is visible in the first few seconds and the headline can be read even in the smallest format.

  6. Formats

Formats are planned at the start: 16:9, 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16, banners, screens and language versions. You get files ready to publish, and when a new channel or market comes along, we make new versions from the same scenes.

  7. Project management

Before we start, you know how the work will run, when you sign off on what and what you'll get at the end. Along the way we keep you posted, and we gather feedback on the script and storyboard, where changes cost the least.

Our goal is an animation that catches the eye in the first second and leaves your brand in people's minds after the last.

02Animation types

What might you need animation for?

These are the jobs companies bring to us most often. For each one we describe what we do and what you get, and show a similar project.

Logo and identity Logo animation, identity animation and brand motion guidelines

What we do

We turn the brand guidelines into an identity animation: how the logo appears, at what pace and with which transitions. Then we carry that motion over to posts, presentations, films and screens, so the brand moves the same way everywhere.

What you get

  • Logo animation
  • Identity animation
  • Intro and outro for films
  • Motion for posts and presentations
Intima Clinic Group brand animation See project Intima Clinic
Product launch The product in 3D, even from engineering files

What we do

We build the 3D scene from engineers' CAD files, so the product doesn't need to have been photographed yet. We set the light, camera and pace so it looks like an electronics commercial.

What you get

  • 3D animation from CAD files
  • Short and longer versions
  • Frames for posts and presentations
  • Intro and outro for brand films
DCX A device launch built from CAD files See project DCX
Events and screens Invitation, stage, breaks and reception screens

What we do

We prepare the visuals for an entire event: an animated invitation, the guests' arrival, interludes, talk titles and thank-yous. Each scene is made at the resolution of the screen it will play on, and the files go to the technical crew.

What you get

  • Animated invitation
  • Script for the event visuals
  • Sequences for every screen
  • Loops for breaks and reception
Porta An animated invitation in five languages See project Porta
Social media Posts, reels and stories at a steady pace

What we do

We agree on a few recurring brand moves: how text comes in, how the product appears, how a film ends. From these we build posts, reels and stories, and each new piece is quicker to make, because the rules are already in place.

What you get

  • Brand motion guidelines
  • Posts, reels and stories
  • 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16 formats
  • Launch teasers
PolTREG Reels and posts See project PolTREG
Motion on the website Animated backgrounds, sections and micro-interactions

What we do

Motion is designed together with the page layout: what moves when the page loads, what moves on scroll and what only reacts on hover. Backgrounds, category animations and micro-interactions are prepared separately for mobile and desktop, in light files. For the website launch we also make a short film that tours the screens.

What you get

  • Website motion script
  • Animated backgrounds and sections
  • Mobile and desktop versions
  • Website launch film
Pokket Animated backgrounds for product lines See project Pokket
Campaign in many formats Spot, banners, digital screens and posts

What we do

We plan the campaign across a spot, animated banners in ad network sizes, posts and digital screens. We make sure the headline and product are legible in every format, even in a 300 × 250 banner.

What you get

  • Spot
  • Animated banners
  • Versions for digital screens
  • Campaign posts

A product that needs explaining Instructions, a service or an app in a few scenes

What we do

We break the subject down into steps and show each one with a drawing, motion and a short caption. A film like this works on the website, in the shop, at trade fairs and for sales reps, in several languages.

What you get

  • Script and storyboard
  • Step-by-step animation
  • Language versions
  • Drawings for leaflets and instructions

DCX

A device launch built from CAD files

Products and 3D

The new units hadn't been photographed yet. Using design files from DCX's engineers, we built a dark scene in which the cooling unit slowly emerges from the light. When a revised model arrived mid-project, we re-rendered the scenes from the new files.

Urtica

Identity animation

Logo and identity

The whole brand system in one film: the dot and logo, the identity rules, the “Hospital – Manufacturer” illustration, the trade show stand, website, posts and catalogue. Urtica already had its logo. We built a system around it and set it in motion.

Zippy Tail

A vertical brand film

Social media and adsLogo and identity

A supplement brand for dogs and cats that we started working on before it even had a name. We hid a nose and a tail in the logo, and the brand film opens on exactly that, a nose and whiskers. It then shows the website, the packaging and the tone of voice, all the way to the line “Because they’re family”. The film was made vertical for stories and reels and in a 4:5 post format, and the logo animation horizontal.

Gaz-Błonie

A narrated film about LNG stations

Explainer films

Gaz-Błonie designs and builds LNG regasification stations. In a narrated film we showed the company in simple drawings: the installation, fitters at the valves, a liquefied gas tanker and mobile stations. It ends with a map of completed projects and an invitation to work together.

Product animations

Products and 3DWebsites

Cans spin, bottles roll, jars slide into frame. Dawtona wanted to speak to younger customers, and a still photo of a jar won't do that. We set up every animation by hand: the light, the material, the pace and the red reflected in the glass.

04How we work

From idea to the file on screen

We work in stages and show you what we've made after each one. You always know what we're doing and why, and when it's easiest to change something.

  1. 01

    Goal and setting

We start with a conversation about the goal: why the animation is being made, who will see it, where it will play and what should stay with people afterwards. A post, a reception screen and an LED wall on stage mean three different formats, lengths and paces.

  2. 02

    Script

We write out what's on screen second by second, which lines appear and how the film ends. For films that explain a product, we also set the order of the steps and the captions.

  3. 03

    Storyboard and style

We draw a storyboard and show the style on a few keyframes: colours, typography, light. Changes cost the least at this stage, so this is where decisions are made.

  4. 04

    Animatic

We put the sketches on a timeline, with real shot lengths and rhythm but no detail. The animatic shows how the film flows before we start polishing it.

  5. 05

    Animation

We animate in 2D or 3D, and products on models built from CAD files. We set the motion, transitions and easing so the pace suits the brand and the place where the film will play.

  6. 06

    Versions and files

From one animation we make every format and language version needed: 16:9, 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16, banners in ad network sizes and files for LED walls at each wall's resolution.

06Before you ask

Frequently asked questions

Someone else designed our logo. Can you animate it?

Yes. We also animate marks we didn't design, and we stick to their guidelines. That's how we worked with the number 32 and the arc of a smile for Nowa Stomatologia: a dot drops and stretches into a line, and the line bends into a smile.

We don't have product photos yet. Can you still make an animation?

Yes, from the engineering files. We built the launch of the DCX units on engineering models before any photos existed. When a revised model came in mid-project, we re-rendered the scenes.

Do you only do 2D, or 3D animation too?

Both. In 3D we animated the launches of the DCX units and the Dawtona products: cans, jars and bottles, where we set the light, material and reflections by hand. In 2D we make logo and identity animations, like the one for the Pure Dent clinic, as well as posts and narrated films that explain a service, like the film about LNG stations for Gaz-Błonie.

We already have footage and copy. Can you just do the editing?

Yes. We edit from what you have: footage, photos, files from a shoot and finished copy. If something's missing, we write the script, draw, model or find a voice-over artist. We agree on the scope together when preparing the quote.

What formats will we get the files in?

Whatever the channel needs: 16:9, 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16 for social media and ads, banners in ad network sizes, and for event screens, files at each screen's resolution, as at the anniversary of Porta in Romania.

Can you make language versions?

Yes. The invitation to the Porta gala was made in five languages, and so was the teaser film for the Porta catalogue. The animated Solar Systems instructions come in Polish, English, German, French and Italian.

Can you make animations for our website?

Yes. On the Dawtona website, each of the seven product categories has its own animation, and on pokket.pl every line of mousses has an animated background, separately for mobile and desktop. We design website motion together with the layout.

How long does it take?

It depends on the length, technique and number of versions. A post lasting a few seconds is quicker to animate than a 3D launch with several shots. After the first call you get a quote and a schedule with dates for every stage and sign-off.
