Where we usually start
What we hear most often
We rarely start with a finished brief. More often it's a situation that has started to pinch: the company has grown, the offer has changed, and the brand and website have fallen a few years behind. These are the situations we hear about most.In a small company, the brand gets done after hours, between clients. We set it up once and properly, so it doesn't need redoing every year.In a large company, the brand drifts apart between departments, branches and suppliers. We put it back in order and give teams tools they can use without us.In a group, the problem is scale: several brands, markets and departments, each with its own agency. We run the whole thing, from strategy to rollout, and take responsibility for the suppliers.
New brand Zippy Tail
- New brand “We're launching a new brand and want to get it right from the start.” We start with strategy, then the name, identity and website. It's all built as one system, so it doesn't need fixing a year later. “A new brand is being created within the group and has to fit with the others.” We start with how the brands in the group are connected. The new one gets its own character and elements shared with the others.
- Rebranding with rollout “We need a rebrand, but a new logo is just the beginning.” The rollout plan is drawn up alongside the design: what we replace, in what order and who does it. We see it through to the end. “The company has grown, but its image is still from the start-up days.” We look at what's worth keeping from the current brand and put the rest in order. The logo doesn't always need to change.
- Tools for your team “Every offer and presentation goes through the designer.” We make templates in the tools your team already works in: PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva or Figma. Sales reps put presentations together themselves, from ready-made slides. “We make posts and offers ourselves in Canva, but each one looks different.” We prepare Canva templates that keep everything consistent, even without a designer.
- New website “Our website hasn't kept up with how the company works today.” First we check what really isn't working. Sometimes tidying up the content and structure is enough, instead of building from scratch. “A simple change to our website takes weeks: a ticket, IT, approvals.” We set up roles and permissions in the panel so marketing makes everyday changes and IT handles only the technical work.
- Web infrastructure “We have several websites, hosting accounts and providers. Nobody has the full picture.” We take stock of domains, servers, access and deadlines, then put it all in order according to a plan. “We don't have the hosting passwords, everything is on the previous agency's account.” We set accounts up in the company's name, or buy a server on its behalf and manage it. The passwords always stay with the client.
- Implementation “We're looking for a partner who will see implementation through, not just hand over a design.” We stay on after approval: development, printing, production and suppliers. One account manager is responsible for the whole thing. “Our freelancer disappeared halfway through the project and doesn't answer the phone.” Several people on our side know each project from the inside, so one of them being ill or on holiday doesn't stop it.
- Complex product “Our product is technical or regulated. It has to be understood first.” First we listen to your experts and read the documentation. We start designing once the product is clear to us. “We have great technology, but we can't talk about it in plain language.” We translate the product into the customer's language without simplifications that distort the meaning. Your experts have to recognise it as accurate.
